My background
I am Mathilde Pelé, a 2017 graduate from the ESIT School for Translation and Interpretation. I translate from German and English into French, my mother tongue.
Following my master’s degree in translation, I worked for two years at the Embassy of Germany in Paris. Since 2019, I have been working full-time as an independent translator.
I am specialised in political and medical translation, but I also translate more general content. In addition, I am interested in inclusive writing.

In close collaboration with you, I write glossaries and style guides to make your communication as coherent as possible and to make sure that your writing style truly showcases your identity.
Rates
The price of a translation or revision depends on the length of your text, as well as its technicality, language combination, format, the degree of creativity needed – for instance, an advertising slogan must be carefully thought out – and your deadline.
For glossaries and style guides, the determining price factors are your deadline and the scale of your project. This may include a brief description of your current editorial style, harmonisation, and establishing a new style to better reflect your chosen image.
